Forrest Gump - Special Editon (1994)

Tom Hanks stars in this comedy drama directed by Robert Zemeckis. 
Forrest Gump (Hanks) is a good-natured man from Alabama who is devoted to those he loves. 
While sitting at a bus stop in 1981, he recounts the story of his life and his love for his best friend Jenny (Robin Wright Penn) to the strangers beside him. 
Bullied as a child, he discovered a talent for running and became a college football star before enlisting in the army and serving in Vietnam. 
Later, after Jenny rejects his marriage proposal, he begins to run across the country and develops a passionate following, until Jenny seeks him out once more. 
The cast also includes Sally Field, Gary Sinise and Mykelti Williamson.
